The X-Files created by Chris Carter
Mulder and Scully are on a case when they receive a Text message with significant information, exactly when they needed it. But who sent the text?
Five preview pages are at the end of this review.
I don’t know how much involvement Chris Carter had with this story but seeing his name credited as ‘Executive Producer’ I am assuming that this story is perhaps considered official.
Starting in modern day this story will delve in to the first X-File, back in 1946.
There are similarities to what happened in the recent investigation and that of the first.
It is an interesting plot that feels like an X-File from the first couple of seasons. The characterisation seems fine.
Present and past are separated by artistic style and it looks good. The same colourist bridging the styles makes the whole thing work really well. Unfortunately the preview pages are only from the present.
