Here’s the line-up for this Prog
It is a sombre mood in the Nerve Centre as Tharg dedicates this issue to Brett Ewins. I was writing a review when I heard of Brett’s passing. I never met him but many people I know had either met him or spoken to him over the phone – Brett didn’t do e-mail I understand. It is often said that someone is ‘the nicest man’ and such epithets however from what I’ve heard over the years it is the truth. Last year at around this time I was sat in a pub with a fellow who had met him several times and we were very upbeat in our hope that we’d see new covers from Brett on 2000AD and hopefully in time more Brett Ewins inside the Prog. Sadly it didn’t come about.
Tharg is right, his talents will inspire many. His loss is felt deeply among us, even those that never met him in person. Brett Ewins is firmly in my top 12 comic artists of all time.
Judge Dredd: Dark Justice part10
Dredd and Anderson continue the struggle against the Dark Judges. Death and Mortis are still active and don’t write off Fire in spirit form.
Greg Staples uses some brilliant angles for some of the panels.
You can read more about Judge Death and his colleagues in my article Who Are The Dark Judges?
Survival Geeks: Steampunk’d part3
Sam might be having second thoughts about Evan. Simon though, not so much second thoughts but certainly he is having thoughts.
Tharg’s 3rillers: From Station to Station part3
The Order part10
Anna still has more questions than answers and time is fast running out.
Savage Book 9: Grinders part10
Bill is in a tight spot and there is still another Grinder out there. We are also getting closer it seems to a pivotal point in Millsverse history. Regular readers will have seen this coming.
Final parts of Dark Justice, The Order and Savage. I assume last part of Survival Geeks but I’m not certain.
