Judge Dredd: Breaking Bud Part 1

Script: John Wagner

Letters: Annie Parkhouse

Judge Dredd Created by John Wagner & Carlos Ezquerra
First Appearance – Prog 2

I can’t remember for certain when Richard Elson did his last Dredd, he is co-creator of the fabulous Kingdom which is one of my favourite modern stories in 2000AD.

This story features cut backs… 2000AD has a history of commenting on current situations. These cut backs affect a weapons tester… can anyone spell payback?

There could be fall out from the scuffle last Prog and not just from Officer Resting Bitch Face. Can the Earhmen convince anyone that they are all in danger?

The dialogue is great, not all the Grey Area plots have been satisfying (I refer you to my comment earlier about Dan Abnett’s Kingdom being one of my favourites) but I’m really enjoying this one.
