Lawgiver is in its third year.

Launched in 2014 under the name ‘Lawgiver: A Celebration of Dredd’. With screenings of Dredd (2012) and Judge Minty and a small line up of Guests, including Judge Dredd’s Co-Creator John Wagner.

Last year Lawgiver MkII had more Guests, this time including top Artist Jock. There were no films but there was a display of props from the 2012 film.

I am a member of the Organisers Group and Moderate some of the Panels. So what can you expect from Lawgiver MkIII?

The confirmed Guest List so far:

Mick McMahon
Abigail Bulmer
Nick Percival
Dylan Teague
John Higgins
Ryan Brown
Patrick Goddard
Rob Williams
Mike Collins
Lee Carter
Henry Flint
Clint Langley

I’ll be doing a few articles spotlighting the talent on show over the coming weeks.

There will obviously be Panels featuring these Guests where you can hear them speaking on a number of varied topics. The Artists will almost certainly all be sketching on the day and will have original art with them and possibly prints for sale.

There will be games and stalls offering entertainment and goodies for you to take home.

Many of those attending will be in costume but this is aimed at all fans of Judge Dredd, Comic or Film, and costumed or in everyday wear. We hopt to offer those in costume a few more added photo opportunities.

I’ll bring more news of what to expect as the weeks tick by but you can keep up to date with announcements by joining the Lawgiver Citizens FB Group.
