Continuing the run of re-prints of Judge Dredd stories from the pages of 2000AD and Judge Dredd Megazine. This book brings stories from 1997 from creators such as John Wagner, Mark Millar, Sean Phillips and Henry Flint.
The titles and credits are on each episode from 2000AD but not on the episodes from Judge Dredd Megazine. These are however uneditedpages, there were no titles or credits in the Megazine.
There are six preview pages from a Mark Millar scripted story after a full list of contents and credits at the end of this article.
The 2000AD episodes include a series of stories that make up a Hot Dog run for a number of Cadets. Judge Dredd is in charge of course, accompanied by Judge DeMarco.
The late 1990s was a time of flux for Judge Dredd and 2000AD before Rebellion took over as publisher. Some fans consider this period one of the weakest yet there are some very good stories in this volume.
Perhaps the widest variation in this edition isn’t s much the scripts as the art. Some great art and some that isn’t my taste yet I know others rate highly. Notably there is some early Henry Flint art.
